Nasrid Palace

The Nasrid palace of Villanueva de la Fuente is one of the most surprising spaces in the town, a contemporary construction inspired by the Alhambra and conceived as an authentic transmission of the Arab essence through the architecture, decoration and atmosphere of the whole.

The work also demonstrates extensive artisanal knowledge, combining carpentry, plasterwork, and masonry, applied to the creation of arches, muqarnas, moldings, and friezes that recall the working methods of Arab art, reinterpreted and adapted to this construction.

The visit allows one to appreciate not only the visual value of the complex, but also the human and artisanal dimension that sustains it. More than a mere decorative recreation, the small palace presents itself as the result of a master craftsman's vocation, capable of transforming wood, plaster, and masonry into a coherent language, full of details and nuances.
