Calvary Viewpoint

The Mirador del Calvario viewpoint is one of the most pleasant spots to appreciate Carrizosa from above. Located near the Parque del Calvario, it offers a pleasant place to pause during your stroll through the town and observe the relationship between the houses, the sloping streets, and the agricultural landscape that surrounds it.

The visit helps one understand the unique character of Carrizosa, a village marked by an irregular layout and steep streets that, in some places, require staircases to overcome the changes in elevation. From this vantage point, one can clearly appreciate how the town center adapts to the terrain and how the landscape of the Campo de Montiel region combines traditional houses with fields of grain, vineyards, and olive groves.
